The 2026 JCB 4TS-8T Teleskid is JCB's high-horsepower telescoping compact track loader, designed to combine the maneuverability and attachment versatility of a compact track loader with the extended reach and lifting capability of a telehandler. It is powered by a 109-hp, 4.4-liter JCB EcoMAX engine and has a 13,000-lb operating weight. The defining feature is the JCB Powerboom. Unlike a conventional CTL with a fixed lift arm, the 4TS-8T's boom can telescope forward and outward. JCB specifically positions the 4TS as a machine capable of doing work that traditionally might require both a compact loader and a separate telehandler. The machine uses a 24-gpm standard hydraulic circuit, with the configuration capable of substantially higher flow—JCB lists up to 42.5 gpm. A high-flow configuration makes the 4TS-8T suitable for demanding hydraulic attachments. The 4TS-8T uses 17.7-inch (450-mm) rubber tracks. The tracked undercarriage gives it traction and stability on surfaces where a wheeled skid steer may have difficulty, particularly on dirt, gravel and uneven construction sites. The 4TS-8T uses a fully welded chassis with a high-strength steel telescopic boom. JCB's Powerboom uses a pressed U-shaped design intended to reduce joints and stress points. Hydraulic lines are routed internally through the boom to provide additional protection from damage. Its combination of 13,000-lb operating weight, 109 hp, nearly 4,000-lb retracted ROC, 15-ft lift height and telescoping reach makes it considerably different from a conventional compact track loader.
